How I got started

Artistry is in my blood. My grandmother worked for well-known clothing designers and fabricated runway gowns in Manhattan. My mother was a watercolorist. Being exposed to such talent, I learned the importance of color, proportion, fabric texture, and design early on. I look at my job as an interior designer as my blank canvas — my runway to create the most beautiful and harmonious environments in your home. I am so thankful for all of life’s inspirations that have made me a better interior decorator for my clients.

Lisa came for an initial review to determine the colors for repainting our home. It progressed to Lisa providing further assistance on a major project for our home. She is a pro interior decorator. Though my wife was hesitant about the use of outside services, Lisa melted that away with her skills and diplomacy. My wife and I even agreed to have Lisa come back in the middle of the project and render further assistance. What a change from when she first came to our home!!!. Lisa is an excellent designer. She helped me pick out a backsplash for my kitchen which I absolutely love. Then she helped me redecorate my bedroom not only with paint color, but roman shades, an upholstered love seat and a window seat bench. It is such a tranquil place to be. I truly love it. Lisa consulted with us regarding the redecoration of our living room and dining room. She had great ideas for wall color, furniture set-up and the overall flow of the room. Knowing that we wanted to recover some chairs she came prepared with fabric samples and even introduced the idea of resurfacing our outdated-looking fireplace. Lisa helped us define the appropriate size area rug we would need, suggested lighting changes and gave us fun ideas for decorating the walls as well. She covered it all with us!
